Editing a Gradient fill

You can edit, save, rename, or delete a Gradient fill using the Fill panel Options pop-up menu and Edit Gradient dialog box.

To open the Edit Gradient dialog box:

1	Select an object that has a Gradient fill or choose a Gradient from the Fill Category pop-up menu.
2	Choose Edit Gradient from the Fill panel Options pop-up menu.
	The Edit Gradient dialog box opens with the current Gradient in the color ramp and preview.

To adjust the transition between colors in the fill:

Drag color swatches left or right.

To add a new color swatch to the gradient:

Click the area between the color ramp and the preview.

To remove a color swatch from the gradient:

Drag the swatch away from the Edit Gradient dialog box.

To change the color of a color swatch:

1	Double-click the color swatch.
2	Choose a color from the Swatches pop-up menu.

When you have finished editing the Gradient, click OK in the Edit Gradient dialog box. The Gradient fill appears in any selected objects and becomes the active fill.
